BASIC PLOT: 

A genetically created dinosaur has escaped from a lab, and is on a rampage. The evil Dr. Hyde (Corbin Bernsen), will do anything to keep his creation secret, including killing his own people. It's up to Sheriff Jim Tanner (Eric Roberts) to stop these damn dinosaurs, and make the desert safe again for you and me! (He might have to have some help from the Army!)

WHAT WORKS: 

*THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE RIDICULOUS, and it succeeds! What is wrong with people these days? Doesn't anyone have a sense of humor anymore?

WHAT DOESN'T WORK: 

*CONTINUITY PROBLEMS When the deputy calls Sheriff Tanner from the poultry truck, it's nighttime, but at the sheriff's station, where the call is received, it's morning.

*PROP PROBLEMS Sheriff Tanner's (Eric Roberts) clothes are too big throughout the movie. I guess they didn't have his size, too low budget.

*MIC PROBLEMS 0:27 boom mic shows across the whole screen

TO RECOMMEND, OR NOT TO RECOMMEND, THAT IS THE QUESTION: 

*This is a hilarious thrill ride from beginning to end. If you are an idiot looking for Jurassic Park, look elsewhere! But if you can appreciate the hilarity in Roger Corman drive-in specials, then you'll like this. Watch it for Eric Roberts alone, he makes the movie!

*THIS IS A STRAIGHT-TO-VIDEO MOVIE, please keep that in mind before you watch\rate it. Straight-to-Video movies have a much lower budget, and so your expectations should be adjusted.
