Blood Ties (2007) 2.5 of 10 stars ⭐ 

 

I've read in other reviews that this show was based on a book, & maybe if you've read those, your mind can fill in what's lacking in this sad series. But I just couldn't. The acting was wooden, the plots were wildly unbelievable, & the characters were flat. (The acting was also bad, but I forgave that because the scripts were so bad. 

Even these quality actors couldn't make these lines work!) If you're looking for a vampire potboiler, I'd stick with "Forever Knight," or "Ultravoilet". (I was mad when "Ultravoilet" ended, mad there weren't more episodes, & mad at those damn British for their short 'mini-series,' instead of actual series.) But here, I couldn't even get through 3 episodes. Trust me, life is too short, skip this one.
