I was so looking forward to watching this, but I missed the first episode, and had to wait to catch it on Netflix. It was well worth the wait, and one of the best shows Syfy has put out in years. I was hooked after the very first episode. The setting (a space ship trapped in the 60's style) drew me in. The great writing, complex characters, and the fact that it's beautiful to watch, kept me with it. For the reviewers who say it's not science fiction, well that's just not true. It is science fiction that has great story lines and costuming to go along with it. I like Helix, and Continuum is OK, but this gives both of those shows a run for their money. I sure hope Syfy listens to its viewers for once and gives us more of Ascension! I definitely recommend it!
